A trial balance is a summary of the debit and credit balances of each account code over a period of time. The underlying principle of double entry accounting is that the sum of the debits equals the sum of the credits and the accounts balance.
Step 1.
Navigate Reports > Popular reports > Trial balance.
Step 2.
Use the search filter to select the appropriate period of time. Download the Trial balance on screen as either a CSV file or a PDF copy.
Drill down into balances for further detail by clicking on appropriate balance links.
